I,ve Seen Better
I've also seen worse.


This photoblog has pictures of nature and buildings, animals and people and just about everything in between. It was voted the 8th best blog in 1984. As I look through the pictures I somehow get the feeling either this guy is not a proffesional photographer or he is very young in his photograpy. I think that's part of the charm of the site.

Feral Flowers
Feral, in the sense of becoming wild after years of taming.

Areas of the California desert can be taken over by vast carpets of wild flowers. Apparently, conditions have to be just right for the explosive growth documented in these pictures. Some are absolutely beautiful.

I stumbled across this wonderful blog and thought I'd share it with you all:

One of the best things about living in rural northern Illinois is the ability to view entire weather systems as they pass through. With nothing but sky from horizon to horizon, it's hard for a thunderstorm to sneak up on you.

The pictures are stunning. I'll post this one to give you a taste :

Woogle - Words in pictures

Woogle is a search toy based on the ever popular Google Image Search. It creates image messages out of the words in the phrase you entered. The URLs are obfuscated so that you can pass them to your friends without them being able to read the message till they view the page.
